Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Content License Grant

You give Mangwao India and its affiliates a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, revocable, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, alter, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display your content worldwide in any medium. This also includes the right to use your name and social media profile associated with your content. “Content” refers to any photos, text, graphics, videos, audio, illustrations, or other materials, including metadata or location information, provided through social media platforms. 

Content Ownership and Responsibility

You guarantee that you own or have the rights to all aspects of your content; that the content is accurate; that its use won’t harm anyone; and that you will compensate Mangwao India for any claims resulting from your content. Mangwao India is not responsible for any content you provide. 

No Compensation

You acknowledge that you will not receive any payment for Mangwao India’s use of your content. 

Content Removal

If you want Mangwao India to stop using your content, you can submit a Report Infringement Form, and Mangwao India will cease using your content within 30 days. 

Changes to Terms

Mangwao India may update these terms at its discretion, with the changes taking effect once posted. If you do not accept the changes, your sole option is to request that Mangwao India stop using your content. 

Complete Agreement

This document represents the full agreement between you and Mangwao India regarding your content. 

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes related to your content will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except for small claims court if applicable. Arbitration will be conducted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its rules, including its Supplementary Procedures for Consumer-Related Disputes. Mangwao India will cover arbitration fees for claims under $10,000 unless deemed frivolous. Arbitration can be done by phone, written submissions, or in person at a mutually agreed location. Disputes must be resolved individually, not as part of a class action. If arbitration isn’t suitable, legal action to protect intellectual property rights is still permitted. 

Interactions with Mangwao India Employees

We expect all customers to engage with Mangwao India employees respectfully and professionally. Using inappropriate, threatening, defamatory, or harmful language during interactions with our staff is a violation of our Conditions of Use. 

We are committed to maintaining a safe and respectful work environment for our employees. If it is determined that you are using unacceptable language or behavior towards our employees, we will take necessary actions. 

The following behaviors are prohibited: 

  • Threatening Behavior: Any direct or indirect threats of harm, whether physical or otherwise. 

  • Offensive Speech: Verbal conduct that humiliates, intimidates, or discriminates against individuals based on attributes such as race, color, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, or persistent misgendering. 

  • Obscene Language: Use of vulgar or sexually explicit language or sounds. 

  • Unauthorized Contact: Attempts to communicate with Mangwao India employees outside of designated channels, such as unauthorized phone calls or messages through the Mangwao India app or website. 

Such behavior may result in consequences, including but not limited to, being blocked from communicating with Mangwao India or having your account closed. For more information, please refer to our full Conditions of Use.
